Birmingham SCL Lunch

Tom Haley and Andrew Shaw attended the recent Society of Construction Law (SCL) lunch in Birmingham. There were more than 300 people in attendance at Birmingham's International Convention Centre which was the venue for the second annual lunch held by the SCL's Birmingham branch.

The speaker was Professor Martin Freer, winner of the 2010 Rutherford Medal and Prize, and CEO of the Faraday Institute and head of the Birmingham Energy Institute, who shared his thoughts on the UK's energy requirements and what this will mean to the demand for construction work in the coming years.

The event provided an opportunity for Andrew and Tom to meet with our existing Birmingham contacts and meet with new contacts too.
