Careers fair
David Stones and Ibrahim Khan had the pleasure of representing us at the careers fair at the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing Leeds Beckett University earlier this week.
There was great energy and enthusiasm in the room, and it was fascinating to hear students' backgrounds and their stories about why they are interested in a future in the construction industry, and for us to share Quantik's journey to date and our plans for the future.
We were pleased that the students got involved in a couple of quantification challenges we set up. The first involved guessing the quantity of sweets in a jar, and the second involved using a trundle wheel to see who could get closest to a quantity of 15m. We have a token prize for the winner of each game and will be getting in touch with the winners very shortly to award these prizes - well done to all who took part!
To all the students we spoke with, thank you for engaging with us and, to the university, thank you for organising the event.
We are already looking forward to the next event and the chance to meet even more of the industry's future stars.
